"Learning Science, Social, and Environmental Studies (IPAS) at the Islamic\r\nElementary School/Elementary School level still encounters challenges,\r\nparticularly in presenting abstract concepts and in integrating local environmental,\r\nsocial, and cultural values. Therefore, innovative, visual, and contextual learning\r\nmaterials are needed. This study aims to: (1) analyze the characteristics and quality\r\nof an AR-assisted encyclopedia based on expert evaluations; (2) implement the\r\ndeveloped encyclopedia to enhance Grade V students’ cultural literacy and\r\nconceptual understanding of IPAS; and (3) examine its effectiveness in supporting\r\nIPAS learning at the MI/SD level.\r\nThe research employed the ADDIE development model, comprising five\r\nstages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The\r\nsubjects included material experts, media experts, teachers, and Grade V students\r\nof State Islamic Elementary School 2 Sleman. The study utilized both qualitative\r\nand quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained through classroom\r\nobservations, teacher interviews, and expert validations, which were analyzed\r\ndescriptively. Quantitative data were collected through teacher questionnaires and\r\npretest–posttest results, analyzed using paired sample t-tests and N-Gain with IBM\r\nSPSS 26.\r\nThe findings indicate that the AR-assisted encyclopedia is thematic,\r\nintegrates IPAS material with local environmental, social, and cultural contexts,\r\nand is equipped with AR markers that display 3D digital objects through the Unity\r\napplication. Expert validation rated the product as \"Valid with Revisions,\" and ten\r\nteachers gave an average score of 89.25% (categorized as \"Excellent\"). The\r\nproduct was implemented in Class V-B at State Islamic Elementary School 2\r\nSleman. The product was perceived as engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with the\r\ncharacteristics of Islamic Elementary School/Elementary School students.\r\nEffectiveness testing showed N-Gain scores of 65.43% for cultural literacy and\r\n82.67% for conceptual understanding, indicating significant improvement.
