"This study was motivated by the need for student worksheets (LKPD) integrated\r\nwith the cultural elements of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, aiming to: (1)\r\nanalyze the characteristics of the culturally integrated LKPD, (2) examine the\r\nquality of the LKPD based on evaluations by media experts, content experts, and\r\nteachers, and (3) assess the effectiveness of the culturally integrated LKPD in\r\nimproving students’ writing skills and self-confidence.\r\nThe research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the\r\nADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and\r\nEvaluation). Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert\r\nvalidation, teacher assessments, student responses, and product effectiveness tests\r\nusing writing skill tests and self-confidence questionnaires. Quantitative data were\r\nanalyzed using descriptive statistics to determine LKPD quality and an\r\nindependent sample t-test to examine the effectiveness of the LKPD on writing\r\nskills and self-confidence. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively based on\r\nobservations, interviews, documentation, and expert validation.\r\nThe findings revealed that: (1) the culturally integrated LKPD was developed in\r\nprinted format for students and teachers, including material summaries, six\r\nculturally infused activities, specific instructions, answer keys, assessment rubrics,\r\nand cultural information; (2) LKPD quality, as validated by material and media\r\nexperts, was categorized as “valid with revisions,” followed by nine teachers’\r\nassessments rating it as “Excellent” (ideal percentage of 85%); and (3) the LKPD\r\nwas effective in enhancing students’ writing skills and self-confidence, as\r\nindicated by independent sample t-test results with significance values of 0.013 <\r\n0.05 for writing skills and 0.014 < 0.05 for self-confidence, suggesting a\r\nsignificant difference between the experimental and control classes."^^ .
