"The low quality of mathematics education is a topic that is often discussed, as\r\nevidenced by the large number of studies examining low learning achievement, interest in\r\nlearning, and problem-solving skills among students. Similar conditions are observed in\r\nthe field, namely low problem-solving abilities and learning interest among students,\r\ninfluenced by the perception that mathematics is a difficult and uninteresting subject,\r\ndifficulties in solving word problems, and learning that still relies heavily on textbooks and\r\nteacher explanations. The development of ethnomathematics-based instructional materials\r\nrooted in Lampung culture using the CPA approach is expected to address these issues.\r\nResearch objectives: (1) to describe the product development procedure, (2)\r\nproduct feasibility, (3) product practicality, and (4) product effectiveness in improving\r\nstudents' problem-solving skills and interest in learning mathematics. This study adopted\r\nthe ADDIE development model with the following stages: analyze, design, development,\r\nimplementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, data collection techniques are divided into:\r\n(1) pre-development: observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, (2)\r\nproduct development: expert validation, practitioner/teacher assessment, and student\r\nresponse, and (3) testing: tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis\r\ntechniques are also divided into: (1) pre-development: descriptive analysis of preliminary\r\nstudy results, (2) product development: feasibility and practicality testing, and (3) testing:\r\npaired t-tests and N-Gain tests.\r\nThe results of the study indicate that: (1) the product development procedure\r\nbegins with needs analysis, creating a design or blueprint, realizing the blueprint into a\r\nproduct for validation and testing, followed by implementation, and finally evaluation, (2)\r\nthe product's feasibility received an average score of 84.09% for subject matter experts,\r\n83% for language experts, 86% for media experts, and 96.8% for cultural experts, all\r\ncategorized as highly feasible. (3) The practicality results obtained an average score of\r\n88.6% for practitioners/teachers and 91% for student responses, categorized as highly\r\npractical, and (4) the effectiveness of the product based on the results of the paired t-test\r\non problem-solving ability and learning interest showed a value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating\r\na significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results, while the N-Gain test\r\nresults obtained an average score of 0.649 or 64% for problem-solving ability and 0.562\r\nor 56% for learning interest. This indicates that the effectiveness of using teaching\r\nmaterials in improving problem-solving ability and learning interest falls into the\r\n“moderate” or “sufficiently effective” category."^^ .
