Conceived by KH. Abdul Wahab Chasbullah and KH. Hasyim Asy?ari, Nahdlatut Tujjar is an indigenous economic movement based on social solidarity principle, economy independency, and resistance to structural inequality due to colonialism. These inheritance values have undergone reconceptualization, which is dynamic and adaptive to current rural economy. Using historical method and muamalah fiqh-based Islamic economy approach, the study tries to trace the ideological and practical continuity of the initial idea of Nahdlatut Tujjar and the implementation of Syirkah ?Inan by KPM. Data were collected through in-depth interview under snowball sampling technique, on-site participative observation, and documentation of the community?s economic work from 2013 to 2024. In addition, sources of primary data taken from direct actors and secondary ones, such as relevant files, documents, and literatures, were also considered. The results show that the influence of Syirkah ?Inan practices in the three regions of research is observable within five fundamental aspects: values (ta?awun, amanah and maslahah), deliberation-based organization structure, no-interest productive economy practices, ashabiyah-based social solidarity, and transmission of Islamic values at work and in daily life. Syirkah ?Inan, the basic form practiced on site, has transformed into Syirkah Mudarabah, Syirkah Muwafadah and ta?awun-based partnership which are in line with the context of social and the need of the community. These four models are carried out on the basis of Islamic economy principles (i.e. tauhid, amanah, responsible, justice, honesty, and beneficial). The development of community-based Islamic economy has been able to deal with the challenges of contemporary rural economy. Furthermore, this type of economy has proven to be effective strengthening the community?s self-supporting, endurance, and empowerment of farmers, amidst capitalistic market mechanism domination over economic system. This study presents an academic discourse on the self-actualization of Islamic economy values within contemporary movement, and also offers relevant, contextual practical alternative in building the ummah?s economy.} }
