"The parenting stress experienced by teenage mothers affects their\r\nattachment patterns towards their children. The main focus is directed at the\r\nsubjective experiences of mothers in carrying out their parenting roles at a very\r\nyoung age, as well as the impact on the quality of the mother-child relationship.\r\nThis study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were\r\nobtained through in-depth interviews with seven teenage mother informants living\r\nin Polewali Mandar Regency.\r\nThe research findings indicate that parenting stress arises as a result of\r\nvarious factors, such as psychological unpreparedness, physical and mental fatigue,\r\nabsence of the husband, and social and economic pressures. The accumulation of\r\nthis stress directly impacts the quality of mother-child interactions, which then\r\nshapes insecure attachment patterns, both in ambivalent and avoidant forms.\r\nChildren raised in these conditions exhibit emotional disturbance symptoms such\r\nas anger outbursts, excessive anxiety, withdrawal, and difficulties in building\r\nsocial interactions.\r\nThis study emphasizes the importance of emotional and social support for\r\nteenage mothers, as protective factors in the parenting process and the formation of\r\nhealthy attachments. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for\r\npsychosocial interventions and public policies in supporting more adaptive\r\nparenting in the context of early marriage."^^ .
