To produce high-quality and uniform seedlings, fast and effective propagation techniques are needed. Vegetative propagation is preferable because seed-based (generative) propagation takes relatively longer and the seeds have recalcitrant properties. The experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors, each treatment replicated three times using five plants per unit. The first factor was the planting media: M0 (sand), M1 (sand and topsoil), M2 (sand and husk charcoal), and M3 (sand, soil, and husk charcoal). The second factor was the IBA concentration: R0 (0 ppm), R1 (200 ppm), R2 (400 ppm), and R3 (800 ppm). The observed parameters included survival rate, number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, and planting media analysis. Data were analyzed using variance analysis two ways (ANOVA) and then continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test at the 0.05 level. The results showed that the M3 planting media had a highly significant effect on all measured parameters. The use IBA R3 had a very significant effect on shoot length 3,35 cm, and significant effects on the number of leaves 11,43 and root length 8,03 cm.
