Kom %T ANALISIS PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL SEBAGAI TEKNOLOGI PEMBELAJARAN di PONDOK PESANTREN AL MUBAROK AL ARBA’IN BOYOLALI %X The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has transformed the learning process in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) by introducing social media as a flexible and community-based learning medium. Pondok Pesantren Al Mubarok Al Arba’in Boyolali utilizes Facebook as a platform for recitation submission, which has proven to facilitate teachers in evaluation, increase parental involvement, and build students’ confidence. However, the use of social media also faces challenges such as digital distractions, limited integration of learning systems, and the potential exposure to content that is not aligned with pesantren values. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the use of social media as a learning technology by identifying supporting factors, obstacles, and designing a digital da’wah–based learning model that aligns with pesantren values. This research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative methods (semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation) and quantitative methods (questionnaires). Respondents consisted of 20 active students selected through total sampling, while teachers and parents were also involved as supporting informants. Qualitative data revealed that the recitation process was conducted through video uploads on Facebook, tagged to teachers and parents, coordinated via WhatsApp, and supervised using Google Family Link. The questionnaire results indicated a high level of satisfaction regarding transparency, accessibility, and communication effectiveness, while the main challenges included device limitations, internet connectivity, and risks of negative content exposure. The findings demonstrate that this digital da’wah model is effective in increasing student engagement, strengthening communication among teachers, students, and parents, and facilitating transparent monitoring of learning activities.
