        abstract = {The phenomenon of domestic violence (KDRT) against women and children continues to increase, including in Karawang Regency. The Karawang Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) serves as an institution providing advocacy and protection services for victims of domestic violence.
This study aims to analyze the role and strategies of P2TP2A Karawang in handling domestic violence cases through an advocacy-oriented and proactive approach from the victim's perspective. This research used qualitative methods with a juridical-empirical approach through interviews, observation, and documentation.
The results indicate that P2TP2A Karawang plays an active role in providing assistance, including psychological and legal support, medical referrals, and the provision of safe houses. Strategies employed include cross-sector coordination, volunteer empowerment, public education, and internal capacity building. However, structural barriers such as budget constraints and cultural barriers, particularly patriarchal culture, remain significant challenges in implementing protection. Therefore, synergy between the government, the community, and relevant institutions is needed to strengthen a fair and inclusive protection system for victims of domestic violence.}
