This system attracts public interest due to its ability to provide new economic opportunities without requiring users to own or sell their own products. However, in practice, Shopee imposes a maximum commission limit of IDR 10,000 per transaction. This provision raises questions regarding the program’s compliance with the core principles of Islamic economic law, particularly the principles of justice (‘adl), balance (tawazun), and public benefit (maslahah). Additionally, it is important to examine whether this program aligns with the concept of ju‘ālah, which refers to a contractual promise of reward for performing a specific task in Islamic jurisprudence. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consist of six Shopee affiliates who promote products through live streaming, content creation, and by sharing product links on social media. Data were analyzed using source triangulation to ensure the validity of the information obtained. The theoretical framework utilized in this study includes the ju‘ālah contract and the foundational principles of Islamic economic law. The analysis focuses on assessing the Shopee Affiliate Program from two perspectives: the structure of the contract and the fairness of the commission distribution based on Islamic values. The results of this study indicate that the Shopee Affiliate Program generally fulfills the criteria of a ju‘ālah contract, as it involves an offer of work and a promised reward in the form of commission. However, the implementation of a maximum commission cap does not fully reflect the principles of justice and balance, as it may lead to a disparity between effort and compensation. On the other hand, the program still brings public benefit by providing digital economic opportunities. Therefore, although the ju‘ālah contract is implemented, the commission distribution system requires evaluation to ensure greater fairness in accordance with the principles of Islamic economic law. date: 2025-08-11 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/73061/1/21103080008_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/73061/2/21103080008_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: Ace Taupik, NIM.: 21103080008 (2025) SHOPEE AFFILIATE PROGRAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF PRINSIP HUKUM EKONOMI SYARIAH DAN TEORI JU‘ALAH.
