Because the activities of the business world will not be separated from the various work processes carried out by workers in carrying out these productive activities. However, in practice, business activities, especially those engaged in the mining industry sector (Extractive) often cause various problems, ranging from environmental damage, land grabbing, exploitation of the rights of local communities and indigenous peoples to human rights violations against workers. The portrait of violations also occurred at PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP), Central Halmahera. One of them is human rights violations against workers. PT IWIP as one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) in its business and operational policies often raises various issues of human rights violations against workers. For this reason, this research was conducted to identify how the human rights enforcement policy at PT IWIP and the extent to which the human rights enforcement policy accommodates the principles of human rights protection, both internationally recognized and those that have been ratified into the national legal system as well as the principle of human rights due diligence and also human rights in an Islamic perspective that refers to the Cairo Declaration. The research method used is field research with an empirical juridical approach and is analytically descriptive. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive technique using field data in the form of observations and interviews as primary data, and library research as secondary (supporting) data such as state documents, theoretical reviews, and concept reviews. The results showed that PT IWIP in human rights policy is still very problematic. This can be seen from the poor OHS standards, the high level of work accidents, the forced labor system that still exists, discrimination against female workers which still often occurs, criminalization of workers and unilateral layoffs that often occur. In addition, PT IWIP has yet to apply the principle of human rights due diligence. This shows a lack of corporate responsibility in terms of transparency, lack of corporate commitment to human rights policies, and lack of access to remedy for victims of human rights violations. It also contradicts the principles of justice, equality, and protection of human dignity from an Islamic human rights perspective. This research emphasizes the urgency of the state to strengthen human rights regulations in the business sector and encourage the implementation of human rights due diligence as an operational standard for mining companies that is in line with Islamic values. %Z Dr. Ahmad Patiroy, M.A.
