If there is a cross between individuals, the descendent will inherit the combination of the two parent genotypes. The purpose of this research was to apply the mathematical model with inbreeding on plant breeding using pedigree breeding method to know the proportion of each dominant and recessive allele in inheritance genotype and the improvement of descendent quality through cross monohybrid with selfing. This study discussed the improvement of the descendant genetic quality through a cross that has a close kinship (inbreeding) in plants that can do selfpollination (selfing) using pedigree breeding method. Inbreeding using pedigree breeding method aims to defence the distribution of alleles in a some generations. The results of this study indicated that the plants that did self-pollination and had inbreeding in a long time will eliminate recessive alleles that are unwanted from a population and will increase the genotype of homozigotes, finally it is obtained pure channel.
