        abstract = {The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of library opening hours on the interest of visitors in the library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This study uses quantitative descriptive method, with research variables extension of library opening hours and visitor interest. The sample determined amounted to 100 respondents from a population of 25,723, by way of determining the sample using the slovin formula and the error rate of 10\%. Sampling method using accidental sampling. The method of data collection in this study used observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the hypothesis test showed that t count (7.350) {\ensuremath{>}} t table (1.66055) so it was concluded that there is a positive influence between the opening hours of the library to the interest of visitors. The results of the correlation test showed at 0.596 which concluded the relationship between the two variables is ?medium". In connection with this, it is recommended to the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library to continue to impose an extension of library opening hours because it has proven to have a significant effect on the interest of visiting users.}
