%T FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMANFAATAN KOLEKSI DI PERPUSTAKAAN SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 YOGYAKARTA
%X This study aims to determine the factors that influence the utilisation of collections in the library of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive and qualitative approaches. To collect data, observation, interview, and documentation methods were used. This research used three informants, namely key informants, main informants, and supporting informants. The head of the library acted as the key informant, three library users as the main informants, and two library officers as supporting informants. This research effectively utilises two factors, namely internal and external. Users' interest in the collection, the motives behind using the collection, and their needs have been successfully addressed to fulfil their information needs. External factors also worked well. The librarian's ability to attract users‘ attention, the facilities available to assist users in finding information, and the collections owned are sufficient to fulfil users’ information needs for educational learning and entertainment activities.
