"This analysis evaluates the handling of the murder case of female student Naira\r\nAshraf by the Egyptian judicial system, as well as the responses arising from the\r\nvictim's family and the media, using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse\r\nAnalysis (AWK) approach and the ideology of socialism in Al-Qahirāh 24 media.\r\nThe media portrayed the Egyptian judicial system as efficient and fast in handling\r\nthe case, which was considered satisfactory for the victim's family and the wider\r\ncommunity. The family, especially Naira's father, felt that the legal procedures were\r\nconvenient and did not overburden them. Naira's father, Ashraf, showed deep faith\r\nin God's justice and the legal system, hoping that heavenly justice would descend\r\nas he expected.\r\nThis research uses critical analysis methodology to explore how media discourse\r\nshapes perceptions of justice and the effectiveness of the legal system, as well as\r\nhow the ideology of socialism in Al-Qahirāh 24 media influences the representation\r\nof this case. This ideology of socialism in the media is reflected in the emphasis on\r\nsocial justice and efficiency as part of the state's responsibility to protect citizens'\r\nrights and ensure fair treatment.\r\nIn addition, this analysis also considers the social context related to women in\r\nEgypt, where the case drew attention to issues related to violence against women\r\nand the need for reforms in legal protection. The swift and fair handling of the legal\r\nsystem not only contributes to the perception of justice but also reflects a social\r\nresponse to concerns about women's safety and rights in the country. By applying\r\ncritical analysis and Fairclough's AWK, this study highlights how the language of\r\nthe media, the speed and effectiveness of the legal system, and the ideology of\r\nsocialism influence public trust and give voice to the challenges and changes\r\nwomen face in the Egyptian social context."^^ .
