The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. The participants consisted of three stay-at-home fathers with children under the age of 15, complemented by three significant others as validation sources. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation, while data validity was ensured using technique triangulation, source triangulation, member checking, and external auditing. The findings reveal that stay-at-home fathers are actively involved in childcare through various forms, such as taking and picking up their children from school, assisting with learning, engaging in play, supervising daily activities, involving children in their routines, being present when needed, and ensuring that their children do not feel lonely. These results indicate that the role of fathers extends beyond being breadwinners, demonstrating their capacity to take on nurturing responsibilities traditionally associated with mothers. In conclusion, the study highlights that stay-at-home fathers demonstrate diverse and meaningful involvement in childcare, representing a form of social change that challenges the dominance of patriarchal cultural norms.
