In educational institutions such as SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota, public relations is essential for providing information to build trust among prospective new students. Public relations acts as the spearhead of communication for educational institutions in shaping a positive image that influences parents' decisions in choosing a school. This school is one of the most popular elementary schools among the public, therefore it requires the right strategy to support public relations activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity is tested through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that public relations strategies are implemented through four strategic stages: fact finding, planning, communication, and evaluation. This strategy has proven effective in increasing public trust, although there are still obstacles in the form of limited funds and suboptimal evaluation documentation.
