Meanwhile, the embedded values of idealism and religiosity tend to weaken. This condition not only encourages social change, but also triggers clashes of values, confusion, tension, conflict, and even anomalies in determining moral values that are the basis of behavior. Therefore, this study aims to provide a solution through the application of the concept of moral education inherited by the two famous figures, namely Ibn Qayyim Al-jauziah and Ibn Miskawaih, analyzing the similarities and differences in the concept of moral education put forward by the two figures and then seeking its relevance to moral education in Indonesia. This type of research is included in the category of library research, where the data sources in this study come from primary data sources and secondary data sources. Regarding data collection techniques using documentation. Regarding data analysis in this study by going through three stages that must be passed, namely starting with data reduction, data presentation, then the last stage is a conclusion. then test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study state that the concept of moral education inherited by Ibn Qayyim Al-jauziah and Ibn Miskawaih certainly has similarities in that moral education must cover various dimensions of human life, both internal and external. Meanwhile, the difference in moral education between Ibn Qayyim Al-jauziah and Ibn Miskawaih lies in the methodological approach they use. Ibn Qayyim Al-jauziah emphasizes spiritual development as the core of moral education, while Ibn Miskawaih tends to pay attention to the rational and philosophical aspects of moral education. However, the final point of the thoughts of both figures is that they both emphasize the importance of developing sustainable moral education. The concept of moral education from both figures that they inherited from Ibn Qayyim Al-jauziah and from Ibn Miskawaih is not only relevant in the context of moral education in Indonesia, but also becomes a rich philosophical foundation for developing a pattern of moral education that is able to answer the needs of the modern era.
