%X Indicated by a very dynamic change acceleration, current global phenomena are influenced by the advancement of information technology, the globalization of economy, and the transformation of cross-geographical social. The situation demands a new paradigm of origin-of-fiqh study to enable Islamic laws to respond multi-dimensional challenge holistically and adaptively. The normative and textual traditional fiqh origin, however, is suspiciously unable to answer the situation’s complexity. The development brings up a theory of system – a systemic and integrative alternative methodology developed by Jasser Auda – confirming the adaptability and openness of Islamic laws.  This research examines the integration mechanism of the system into the origin of fiqh, and identifies the possible challenges and problems. It also tries to measure the end-results of the integration process. This qualitative research collects data from primary sources, such as first-hand books written by Jasser Auda, and secondary sources, such as journals, thesis, and websites. Data analysis comprises data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study reached three conclusions. 1) Jasser Auda’s idea came up due to the appearing tensions between tradition and modernity, text-context, and local-global. 2) His integration of system in the fiqh’s origin is a response to fiqh-relevant crisis. He integrates revelation, logic, and social reality through Naqli-Aqli-Systemic on the basis of sharia maqasid. 3) Auda responds three fundamental challenges, ideology, epistemology, and linguistic with the strategy for system naturalization, double validation of normative-functional, and Islamic-value based term adaptation.
