"This study aims to determine the design, feasibility, and practicality of the butterfly\r\ndiversity atlas in Mount Merapi National Park (TNGM) as a learning medium. The\r\nbutterfly diversity research uses the line transect and profile matching methods. The\r\ndata analysis technique uses the Shannon-Wiener diversity index formula. The atlas\r\ndevelopment research uses the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-\r\nImplementation-Evaluation) development model, but is limited to the Development\r\nstage. The data analysis technique is carried out through validity tests using the\r\nAiken V and Pearson Product Moment formulas and reliability tests using the\r\nCronbach Alpha formula. The results of the study at the Pakem-Turi Resort obtained\r\na total of 45 species and at the Cangkringan Resort obtained a total of 54 butterfly\r\nspecies. The butterfly species found belong to six families, namely Papilionidae,\r\nNymphalidae, Lycaenidae, Pieridae, Hesperiidae, and Riodinidae. The results of the\r\nassessment by material experts and media experts obtained validity values of 0.87\r\nand 0.90, respectively; reliability values of 0.82 and 0.67, respectively. Based on\r\nexpert assessment, it was concluded that the developed atlas was suitable for trial.\r\nThe assessment results by biology teachers and students obtained validity values of\r\n0.95 and 0.72, respectively; reliability values of 0.75 and 0.93, respectively.
