Interfaith dialogue plays a strategic role in fostering harmony and peace, with Scriptural Reasoning (SR) as one of the dialogical approaches using sacred religious texts as the foundation for discussion. Within the context of interfaith communities, the Simpul Iman Community (SIM C) in Yogyakarta serves as a platform for practicing SR that nurtures inclusivity and new religious understanding among students from various religious backgrounds. This study arises from the need to understand how the process of religious conversion occurs in SR practice, the driving factors, and the types of conversion experienced by SIM C members. This research employs a qualitative approach based on Zakiyah Daradjat's religious conversion theory, which examines psychological and gradual changes in belief. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and literature studies on SIM C members actively participating in SR dialogue. The theoretical framework maps out five stages of religious conversion: calm phase, inner turmoil or conflict phase, conversion phase, peaceful acceptance phase, and expression phase. The study presents a thorough analysis of interfaith dialog interactions within the community and how social conditions and individual backgrounds influence deep changes in religious attitudes and beliefs. Findings indicate that religious conversion among SIM C members in SR dialogue occurs progressively and dynamically through stages in line with the religious conversion theory. The driving factors include inner conflicts causing psychological discomfort, critical reflection on the relationship with traditional religion, invitations and positive suggestions within the community, intense emotional dynamics, and a strong will to change. The dominant type of transformation is gradual (volitional conversion) built from dialogue and deep reflection processes. This leads to an inclusive religious understanding actively strengthening interfaith harmony on campus and in society. The study significantly contributes to the psychological understanding of religious conversion through interfaith dialogue and its implications for developing dialogical practices and religious tolerance. %K Simpul Iman Community, Scriptural Reasoning, Konversi Agama. %D 2025 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib73610
