"Zona riparian adalah ekosistem transisi vital yang menjaga stabilitas ekologis. Penelitian ini menganalisis komposisi, distribusi, keanekaragaman, serta struktur vertikal dan horizontal vegetasi riparian pada tiga tipe penggunaan lahan di DAS Dengkeng, Klaten: hutan, pertanian, dan permukiman. Metode penelitian melibatkan stratified plot sampling di 12 plot, dengan analisis statistik menggunakan Indeks Keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener (H') dan Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan komposisi, distribusi, dan keanekaragaman vegetasi riparian seiring perubahan tata guna lahan. Hutan riparian memiliki keanekaragaman tertinggi (43 spesies) dan struktur komunitas paling kompleks, dengan Swietenia mahagoni sebagai spesies dominan, dan nilai H' mencapai 2,62. Profil vegetasi hutan mencakup semua strata (A-D), yang membentuk kanopi tinggi esensial. Sebaliknya, lahan pertanian (28 spesies) dan permukiman (33 spesies) didominasi oleh spesies toleran gangguan seperti Artocarpus altilis dan Tectona grandis. Profil vegetasi pada kedua lahan ini lebih sederhana, didominasi strata C dan D, akibat deforestasi dan urbanisasi. Analisis CCA mengungkapkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan optimal di hutan cahaya rendah, kelembaban tinggi, dan tanah aluvial subur mendukung tingginya keanekaragaman. Sebaliknya, parameter yang terdegradasi di pertanian dan permukiman cahaya dan suhu tinggi, kelembaban rendah, dan tanah lempung padat berkorelasi negatif dengan keanekaragaman. Kesimpulannya, perubahan penggunaan lahan menyebabkan degradasi ekosistem riparian dan faktor edafik menjadi penentu utama dari keanekaragaman serta distribusi vegetasi."^^ . "2025-08-07" . . . .
