However, aquaculture activities are often constrained by the high cost of feed, creating the need for alternative feed ingredients that are both nutritious and economical. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of fermented cassava leaf meal and trash fish meal on nile tilapia growth and protein content, identify the most effective feed composition, and monitor water temperature and pH. The experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. The treatments were: P0 (commercial pellets), P1 (25% cassava leaf meal+75% trash fish meal), P2 (50% cassava leaf meal+50% trash fish meal), and P3 (75% cassava leaf meal+25% trash fish meal). A total of 20 nile tilapia, aged 3-4 months, with lengths of 15-17 cm and weights of 60-70 g, were used. Parameters observed included weight gain, length gain, protein content (analyzed using the Biuret method), and water temperature and pH. Growth and protein data were analyzed using One Way Anova. Results showed the highest weight gain in P0 (73.8 g) and the lowest in P3 (48.4 g) (p>0.05). The highest length gain was found in P0 (3.5 cm) and the lowest in P3 (2 cm) (p>0.05). The highest protein content was recorded in P2 (7.1%) and the lowest in P3 (1.2%) (p>0.05). Water temperature and pH were normal for the growth of nile tilapia. These results suggest that cassava leaf meal and trash fish meal can serve as alternative feed ingredients for nile tilapia. date: 2025-08-20 date_type: published pages: 71 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Uljanah, NIM.: 20106040053 (2025) PERTUMBUHAN DAN KADAR PROTEIN IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus Linnaeus, 1758) SETELAH PEMBERIAN PAKAN TEPUNG FERMENTASI DAUN SINGKONG (Manihot utilissima Pohl) DAN TEPUNG IKAN RUCAH.
