"Student learning outcomes and spiritual attitudes in biology classes are still\r\nin the low category. This condition is influenced by learning that has not optimally\r\nlinked the material to everyday values and spiritual aspects. This study aims to\r\ndetermine the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model with a Contextual\r\nTeaching and Learning (CTL) approach based on thematic verses from the Qur'an\r\nin improving student learning outcomes and spiritual attitudes in the psychotropic\r\nsub-subject at MAN 4 Bantul. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a\r\nnonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 13 students\r\nin the experimental class and 14 students in the control class, selected through\r\npurposive sampling. The research instruments included multiple-choice tests to\r\nmeasure cognitive learning outcomes through pre-tests and post-tests, a Likert scale\r\nspiritual attitude questionnaire to measure affective domains, and an expert\r\nvalidation sheet to assess the validity of both instruments. Both instruments were\r\ntested for validity and reliability before use. Learning outcome data were analyzed\r\nusing normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent t-tests, paired samples t-tests,\r\nand normalized gain calculations. Spiritual attitude data were analyzed\r\ndescriptively. The results showed no statistically significant difference between the\r\nexperimental and control groups in learning outcomes (p=0.196), but the N-Gain\r\nscore of the experimental group (0.427) was higher than that of the control group\r\n(0.251). The average spiritual attitude score of the experimental class (88.4) was\r\nalso higher than that of the control class (85.4), accompanied by the reflective\r\ninvolvement of students in relating Qur'anic verses to the dangers of psychotropic\r\ndrugs, indicating the potential for internalization of spiritual values. These findings\r\nindicate that integrating Islamic values into learning can strengthen students'\r\nunderstanding and spiritual attitudes, even though no statistically significant\r\ndifferences were observed."^^ .
