(Analisis Regresi Sederhana pada Mahasiswa di Yogyakarta)
%X The wide variety of features provided by social media especially Instagram has turned it into more than just a platform for sharing daily activities. For many university students, it has also become a personal outlet for self-expression and self-disclosure. With the fast-paced advancement of technology, students now have more opportunities to convey their emotions and thoughts using tools like stories, close friends, captions, and direct messages. Instagram stands out as one of the most frequently used platforms in this regard, offering ways to communicate through images, text, and interactive elements. This research seeks to explore how much these Instagram features impact students' willingness to open up about themselves. This research applies the Uses and Effects theory to examine the impact of Instagram features on students' self disclosure. Using a quantitative approach, data were gathered through questionnaires filled out by university students in Yogyakarta who actively use Instagram. The analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test. The findings reveal that Instagram’s features contribute 64% to students’ self disclosure behavior.
