"This research was motivated by the lack of learning media to support students\r\nin field practice on the topic of living creature diversity, particularly herpetofauna\r\ndiversity. The learning media provided by schools are limited to textbooks,\r\nPowerPoint presentations, and instructional videos. This study aims to develop,\r\nanalyze the feasibility, and analyze the practicality of the product developed as a\r\nbiology learning medium. This study used the R&D (Research and Development)\r\nmethod. The development model used was ADDIE, but was limited to the\r\ndevelopment stage. Product quality assessment data was obtained from a\r\nquestionnaire as a data collection instrument The questionnaire results were\r\nanalyzed using the Aiken's V formula, Pearson product moment, and Cronbach's\r\nalpha. The feasibility assessment was conducted by two material experts and two\r\nmedia experts, while the practicality assessment was conducted by two biology\r\nteachers and 15 grade 10 students of SMA Negeri 1 Petungkriyono. The validation\r\nresults of the field guide book product of herpetofauna diversity (Amphibians &\r\nreptiles) in Mendolo Village, Pekalongan which was developed were declared “very\r\nfeasible” to be used as a biology learning medium in Senior High\r\nSchools/Vocational High Schools. The product was said to be very feasible because\r\nit obtained a material expert feasibility test score by obtaining an average validity\r\ntest presentation of 91% and an average reliability test presentation of 82% so that\r\nboth were included in the “very feasible” category. In addition, the feasibility test\r\nwas carried out by media experts obtaining an average validity test presentation of\r\n80% and an average reliability test presentation of 86% so that both were included\r\nin the “very feasible” category. After being declared feasible, the product was tested\r\non a limited basis by teachers and students with the result “Very Practical”. The\r\nproduct was said to be very practical because it obtained a teacher practicality test\r\nscore by obtaining an average validity test presentation of 78% and an average\r\nreliability test presentation of 78% so that both were included in the “practical”\r\ncategory.
