"Academic stress experienced by students can lead to a lack of confidence and a tendency\r\nto give up easily. Based on various research findings, self-efficacy and music listening\r\nintensity can be factors related to academic stress. This study aims to determine the\r\nrelationship between self-efficacy and pop music listening intensity and academic stress\r\namong students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study employed a quantitative\r\napproach using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The number of\r\nrespondents in this study was 404 students from various universities in the Special Region\r\nof Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to\r\nexamine the relationship between self-efficacy and pop music listening intensity and\r\nacademic stress. The results showed a significant relationship between self-efficacy and\r\npop music listening intensity and academic stress, with an effective contribution of\r\n17.0%. Partially, self-efficacy and academic stress had a positive relationship with a\r\nsignificance value of -0.279. Meanwhile, the intensity of pop music listening had a\r\nnegative relationship with academic stress, with a significance value of 8.806%."^^ . "2025-10-06" . . . .
