Based on various research findings, self-efficacy and music listening intensity can be factors related to academic stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and pop music listening intensity and academic stress among students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study employed a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The number of respondents in this study was 404 students from various universities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and pop music listening intensity and academic stress. The results showed a significant relationship between self-efficacy and pop music listening intensity and academic stress, with an effective contribution of 17.0%. Partially, self-efficacy and academic stress had a positive relationship with a significance value of -0.279. Meanwhile, the intensity of pop music listening had a negative relationship with academic stress, with a significance value of 8.806%.
