%T TINJAUAN MAQASID SYARIAH TERHADAP PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM PENANGGULANGAN KENAKALAN REMAJA (STUDI KASUS DESA SUKAMULYA, KECAMATAN RUMPIN, KABUPATEN BOGOR)
%X Adolescents are a strategic asset of the nation, playing a crucial role as the next generation in national development. Adolescence is a complex and challenging transitional phase marked by significant physical, emotional, and psychological changes. During this stage, adolescents tend to have a strong curiosity and a high drive for exploration, which, if not properly guided, can lead to deviant behaviors or juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency is a social phenomenon that occurs across various levels of society and can have negative impacts both on the individuals involved and their social environments. Therefore, active involvement from various parties, particularly parents as the primary educators within the family, is essential in preventing and addressing such behavior.

This study aims to examine the role of parents in addressing juvenile delinquency in Sukamulya Village, Rumpin Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, and to analyze it through the lens of maqasid shariah. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that parents apply three main approaches in guiding their children: preventive (prevention), and curative (rehabilitation). The parenting styles implemented are based on religious and social values, including providing advice, limiting social interactions, and involving children in religious activities.

From the perspective of maqasid shariah, these parental roles reflect efforts to safeguard religion (hifz al-din), life (hifz al-nafs), and intellect (hifz al-aql), which are the primary objectives of Islamic law. Thus, the role of parents is not only social in nature but also spiritual, contributing to the formation of morally upright and well-mannered future generations.
