However, in practice, many beauty products are sold outside of applicable regulations, such as the free sale of blue-labeled prescription creams on the Shopee marketplace. This has negative impacts, including violations of consumer rights and business actors' non-compliance with their obligations. The author is interested in further researching consumer protection regarding the sale of blue-labeled prescription creams on the Shopee marketplace, from the perspective of positive law and Islamic law. This study employed field research, which is descriptive in nature and employs a normative-empirical approach. Primary data sources included direct interviews with the Yogyakarta Food and Drug Administration (BPOM), the Yogyakarta Consumer Institute, interviews with business actors on the Shopee marketplace, and the distribution of questionnaires to consumers. Secondary data, including primary legal materials, include Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, Shopee Policies, and other related regulations, while secondary legal materials include books, articles, journals, websites, and other sources. The theoretical framework used is consumer protection, agreements, and maslahah mursalah. The results of this study indicate that: first, from a positive legal perspective, consumer protection for the sale of blue-labeled prescription creams online on the Shopee marketplace is sufficient to protect consumer rights. However, many business actors violate the rules by selling blue-labeled prescription creams freely on the Shopee marketplace. Second, the Islamic legal review of the free sale of blue-labeled prescription creams based on maslahah mursalah is prohibited, because it can endanger human life. This is based on the absence of an official license from the pharmacy and does not have a distribution permit from the BPOM, so it becomes 'illat in determining the legal basis.} }
