The government in the Archipelago Capital is managed directly by the IKN Authority, where the head and deputy head of the Authority are appointed directly by the President and there is no DPRD as a representative institution. This government model raises questions about the legitimacy and principles of government in the perspective of Islamic law, especially in the perspective of siy{\=a}sah tanfi{\.z}iyyah according to al-Mawardi. This research uses a normative juridical method with a legislative approach and analytical descriptive research and siy{\=a}sah tanfi{\.z}iyyah theory. The formulations of the problem are: (1) How is the government model of the Capital City of the Archipelago as a special region? and (2) What is the view of siy{\=a}sah tanfi{\.z}iyyah on the special model of the Capital City of the Archipelago? Data were collected through literature studies and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results show that the Nusantara Capital City government model is a form of asymmetrical decentralization that is functional in nature. The Archipelago Capital Authority has administrative power and full authority to replace the local government, in contrast to other authoritative bodies that are sectoral in nature. In the perspective of siy{\=a}sah tanfi{\.z}iyyah, the Nusantara Capital Authority fulfills several principles such as visionary leadership, comprehensive security, and environmental sustainability, but still faces serious challenges in the principles of justice and community participation.} }
