Competent graduates serve as a key indicator that an educational institution has succeeded in producing graduates who are capable of contributing to and competing in society. This research aims to examine and measure the influence of total quality managemen on graduate competence. The theory used in this study is Edrawd Sallis?s theory. This research employs a quantitative method with a random sampling technique to determine the sample, and the number of sample was determined using the Slovin formula. The relability test was conducted using Cronbach?s Alpha, while validity was tested using bivariate correlation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis, specifically bivariate correlation and Pearson Product-Moment correlation tests. The study populatiion consisted of 63 graduates from the 2018 cohort of the Islamic Education Management Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, with a calculated sample size of 54 graduates. However, only 32 graduates participated and returned responses as research respondents. The results of the study show that total quality management has a significant influence on graduate competence. This is evidenced by a bivariate correlation coefficient value of 0,768 and a significance value of 0,000 {\ensuremath{<}} 0,05. Meanwhile, the R2 value is 0,590, meaning that the graduate competence variable (Y) can be explained by the total quality management variable (X) by 59\% while the remaining 41\% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The regression equation obtained is Y = 14,494 + 0,293, which means that X contributes 29,3\% to Y. In other words, each one-unit increase in the total quality management variable results in a 0,293 point increase in the graduate competence variable.} }
