Using a qualitative approach and a fenomenology method, this research involved five fathers who are members of the Wahana Keluarga Cerebral palsy (WKCP) community in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and direct observations. The findings show that father?s involvement in caring for children with cerebral palsy forms new meanings of male roles within the family. Such involvement is manifested through domestic activities and participation in family decision-making. These experiences reflect the emergence of caring masculinities and hybrid masculinities, where empathy and care become integral parts of masculine identity. This study emphasizes that masculinity is fluid and can be negotiated through caregiving experiences. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for social workers and service institutions in developing more inclusive family support programs.
