This phenomenon is particularly noteworthy as it combines practices of sharing without monetary transactions with humanistic values aligned with the principles of Islamic Etics, even though it does not explicitly employ formal religious symbols. This research aims to reveal how symbolic actions within the Bandung Free Market construct an alternative social discourse, as well as how alternative media play a role in reproducing these values in the public sphere. The site was chosen due to its consistency and ability to foster community networks across diverse social backgrounds. Employing a qualitative case study approach, this research integrates critical discourse analysis and symbolic action theory, with data gathered through participatory observation, indepth interviews, and documentation of online channels. The findings indicate that the Bandung Free Market articulates discourses of solidarity, equality, and advocacy for marginalized groups through visual symbols, social media narratives, and direct interactions on the ground. Its online representations serve as a medium to ground moral messages of a transcendent nature, independent of institutional or doctrinal religious frameworks. In conclusion, this movement is not only a form of cultural resistance against capitalism but also a space for reproducing humanistic values that transcend cultural and ideological boundaries. %K Alternatif, Pasar Gratis Bandung, Sosialisme Libertarian, Etika Islam, Tindakan Simbolis %D 2025 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib74497
