"Islamic education in the modern era faces significant challenges in\r\nimproving institutional quality and competitiveness amid dynamic social changes,\r\nparticularly in border regions. The success of an educational institution is not solely\r\ndetermined by academic aspects but also by the effectiveness of financial\r\nmanagement, the quality of human resources, and the adequacy of facilities and\r\ninfrastructure. These three managerial factors play a crucial role in shaping a\r\nstrong institutional image (branding image), which directly influences public\r\ninterest. This study aims to analyze the influence of financing management, HR\r\nquality, and infrastructure on institutional image and to examine the mediating role\r\nof institutional image in enhancing public interest in choosing Darul Amin Private\r\nJunior High School in Kutacane, Southeast Aceh.\r\nThis research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design.\r\nData were collected through questionnaires distributed to 400 respondents,\r\nconsisting of community members and parents affiliated with the institution. Data\r\nanalysis was conducted using path analysis with the JASP software to test both\r\ndirect and indirect relationships among the variables. All research instruments were\r\ntested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the\r\nfindings.\r\nThe results showed that financial management significantly influenced\r\ninstitutional image (β = 0.34; p < 0.05), human resources had the strongest\r\ninfluence on institutional image (β = 0.41; p < 0.05), and infrastructure also\r\nsignificantly influenced (β = 0.29; p < 0.05). Furthermore, institutional image\r\nsignificantly influenced public interest (β = 0.52; p < 0.05) and acted as a\r\nmediating variable, strengthening the relationship between financial management,\r\nhuman resources, and infrastructure on public interest (Sobel test, p < 0.05).\r\nThe implications of this research indicate that the implementation of\r\ntransparent and professional managerial governance, accompanied by\r\nstrengthening the institutional image, can increase public trust in schools.\r\nPractically, the results of this study can serve as a reference for private schools in\r\nborder areas in designing strategies to improve management quality, human\r\nresource competency, and optimize infrastructure to strengthen the image and\r\nattractiveness of the institution."^^ .
