"This study aims: (1) To develop digital pop-up book media to improve\r\nIndonesian spelling understanding and descriptive writing skills of fifth grade\r\nelementary school students. (2) To determine the validity of digital pop-up book\r\nmedia to improve Indonesian spelling understanding and descriptive writing skills\r\nof fifth grade elementary school students. (3) To determine the effectiveness of\r\ndigital pop-up book media to improve Indonesian spelling understanding and\r\ndescriptive writing skills of fifth grade elementary school students.\r\nThis study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the\r\nADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design,\r\ndevelopment, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques were\r\nconducted through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and\r\ntests. Data obtained from the results of observations, interviews, documentation,\r\nand product validation by experts were analyzed using qualitative descriptive\r\nanalysis. Meanwhile, quantitative descriptive analysis was used to process the data\r\nfrom the product effectiveness test results by comparing pretest and posttest scores\r\nthrough paired sample t-tests and N-Gain tests to determine improvements in\r\nlearning outcomes before and after product use.\r\nThe results of this research and development indicate that the development\r\nof digital pop-up book media through the ADDIE model stages resulted in several\r\nfindings, namely: (1) The digital pop-up book media has been successfully\r\ndeveloped using the ADDIE model. (2) The digital pop-up book media is suitable\r\nfor use in learning implementation, with validation results from linguists: 94%,\r\nmedia experts: 85%, material experts: 78%, teacher responses: 97%, and students:\r\n77%. (3) The use of digital pop-up book media can improve students' understanding\r\nof Indonesian spelling, as seen after treatment. The results of the paired sample ttest\r\nand a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The NGain test result of 0.87 is in the\r\nhigh category, with 87% being in the effective category. The use of digital pop-up\r\nbooks can improve students' descriptive writing skills, as seen after treatment. The\r\nresults of the paired sample t-test showed a significance of 0.000 <0.05. The NGain\r\ntest result of 0.80 is in the high category, with 80% being in the effective category.\r\nTherefore, digital pop-up books are effective in improving the understanding of Indonesian spelling and descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school\r\nstudents."^^ .
