"This study aims to map the publication rate,\r\nidentify the distribution of publications in Sinta and Scopus journals, determine the\r\nscientific fields published, and analyze the journal citations produced. This research is\r\nbased on the urgency of scientific publications as an indicator of the academic quality of\r\nstudy programs and universities, as well as an effort to improve publication standards in\r\nIndonesia, which still lags behind those in Southeast Asia.\r\nThis research is motivated by the importance of publications not only as a\r\ngraduation requirement but also as tangible evidence of students' competence in\r\nproducing original scientific work and contributing to the development of science. This\r\nstudy seeks to map the scientific journal publications produced by students of the 2021-\r\n2022 intake of the Master of Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education (PGMI) program\r\nat UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, as a reflection of the study program's success in\r\nequipping students with adequate research skills.\r\nThis study aims to map publication rates, identify the distribution of\r\npublications in Sinta and Scopus journals, determine the scientific fields of publication,\r\nand analyze journal citations. This research is motivated by the urgency of scientific\r\npublications as an indicator of the academic quality of study programs and universities,\r\nas well as an effort to improve publication standards in Indonesia.\r\nThe method used is a qualitative field study approach. Data collection was\r\nconducted through method triangulation and data source triangulation, namely\r\nobservation of publication documentation, in-depth interviews with relevant parties, and\r\nsecondary data analysis.\r\nThe results of the study show that (1) the publications of students from the\r\n2021-2022 intake in the Sinta 2 journal were 11 students, Sinta 3 were 62 students, Sinta\r\n4 were 38 students, Sinta 5 were 7 students, Sinta 6 were 1 student, and there was one\r\nstudent who successfully published his work in a reputable international journal, namely\r\nQ1, Q2, and Q3. (2) Overall, the scientific fields of student publications that were\r\nsuccessfully researched were 15 students who published in Natural Sciences, 12 students\r\nin Mathematics, 2 students in Indonesian Language, 5 students in Pancasila Education,\r\n42 students in Thematics, and 39 students outside the scientific field. (3) Citation analysis\r\nshows that these publications are widely cited, indicating a significant contribution of\r\nalumni to the development of science in the field of education."^^ .
