This research is based on the urgency of scientific publications as an indicator of the academic quality of study programs and universities, as well as an effort to improve publication standards in Indonesia, which still lags behind those in Southeast Asia. This research is motivated by the importance of publications not only as a graduation requirement but also as tangible evidence of students' competence in producing original scientific work and contributing to the development of science. This study seeks to map the scientific journal publications produced by students of the 2021- 2022 intake of the Master of Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education (PGMI) program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, as a reflection of the study program's success in equipping students with adequate research skills. This study aims to map publication rates, identify the distribution of publications in Sinta and Scopus journals, determine the scientific fields of publication, and analyze journal citations. This research is motivated by the urgency of scientific publications as an indicator of the academic quality of study programs and universities, as well as an effort to improve publication standards in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative field study approach. Data collection was conducted through method triangulation and data source triangulation, namely observation of publication documentation, in-depth interviews with relevant parties, and secondary data analysis. The results of the study show that (1) the publications of students from the 2021-2022 intake in the Sinta 2 journal were 11 students, Sinta 3 were 62 students, Sinta 4 were 38 students, Sinta 5 were 7 students, Sinta 6 were 1 student, and there was one student who successfully published his work in a reputable international journal, namely Q1, Q2, and Q3. (2) Overall, the scientific fields of student publications that were successfully researched were 15 students who published in Natural Sciences, 12 students in Mathematics, 2 students in Indonesian Language, 5 students in Pancasila Education, 42 students in Thematics, and 39 students outside the scientific field.
