"The increasing prevalence of ex international iPhone sales in Indonesia has led to\r\nvarious legal and consumer issues, particularly regarding price discrepancies and\r\nthe lack of transparency in warranty implementation. This study aims to analyze\r\nthe forms of legal protection for consumers and the responsibilities of business\r\nactors in ex- inter iPhone transactions at iPhone Semarang 2013, based on the\r\nprovisions of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.\r\nThis research employs an empirical juridical method with a qualitative\r\ndescriptive approach, combining a normative review of legislation with empirical\r\ndata obtained through interviews and observations of business actors and\r\nconsumers. The analysis is grounded in consumer protection theory and liability\r\ntheory, focusing on the implementation of the principle of good faith and the\r\ncompliance of business actors with the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK). The\r\nresearch problems are: (1) What types of consumer losses are experienced by users\r\nof ex-international iPhones regarding pricing and warranty at iPhone Semarang?\r\n(2) How is the responsibility of business actors toward consumers purchasing ex\r\ninternational iPhones at iPhone Semarang?\r\nThe findings show that legal protection for consumers of ex international\r\niPhones has not been effectively implemented, as business actors continue to violate\r\nArticle 4(c) and Article 10 of the Consumer Protection Law concerning truthful\r\ninformation on price and transparent warranty policies. Furthermore, the\r\nresponsibility of business actors has not fully reflected the principle of good faith,\r\nas stipulated in Article 1338(3) of the Indonesian Civil Code and Article 19 of the\r\nConsumer Protection Law, due to inconsistent and unprofessional handling of\r\nwarranty claims and consumer complaints."^^ .
