This horror film, which raises religious themes, has sparked controversy and concern because its depiction of rituals is not in accordance with their sacredness, potentially damaging spiritual values and triggering anxiety. This study aims to reveal the mechanisms of desacralization representation using descriptive qualitative methods and Roland Barthes' Semiotic Analysis in five key scenes in the trailer. The results show that the trailer systematically constructs misleading new meanings, forming three main ideological myths. These myths include a shaky foundation of faith, constructed through a changing qibla direction and the disappearance of the call to prayer, which directly violates the requirements for valid prayer. Second, the myth that worship is a gateway to terror is formed, demonstrated through hysterical and possessed prayer movements, fundamentally attacking the pillars of prayer and eliminating the function of thuma'ninah (tranquility). Finally, there is the myth of the dominance of profane forces, which is constructed through the appearance of demons during worship, ideologically attacking the concept of the call to prayer and prayer as a code for exorcising demons. Overall, the trailer for the 2024 film Kiblat successfully desacralizes rituals, transforming sacred symbols into symbols of vulnerability, and eliminating theological security in the face of cinematic terror. %K Desakralisasi, Ritual Agama Islam, Trailer Film, Semiotika Roland Barthes %D 2025 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib74710
