However, some eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Seyegan still lack discipline, such as being late, violating uniform rules, and disobeying school regulations. The Guidance and Counseling (BK) teacher plays a significant role in improving discipline through systematic guidance. This study aims to describe the role of the BK teacher in enhancing student discipline. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a field study approach. The subjects included the BK teacher and three students with disciplinary issues. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the BK teacher acts as a guide, motivator, disseminator of school rules, and counseling facilitator to help students overcome personal problems affecting their discipline. These roles proved effective in raising awareness and gradually changing student behavior, thereby fostering a more orderly and conducive learning atmosphere.} }
