This study analyzes the effects of inflation, economic growth, and labor force on income inequality in eight ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, and Cambodia) during the period 2010?2022. Secondary data were obtained from the World Bank and analyzed using panel data regression with the random effect model (REM) approach. The results show that inflation has a positive and significant effect on income inequality, while economic growth and labor force have negative and significant effects. These findings emphasize the importance of controlling inflation, promoting inclusive economic growth, and expanding employment opportunities to reduce income inequality in the ASEAN region.
