Using panel data and the Random Effect Model (REM), the results show that inflation has a negative and significant effect on the current account, while economic growth has a positive and significant effect. In contrast, exchange rate and political stability are found to have no significant effect on the current account. These findings indicate that current account performance in G20 countries is mainly influenced by macroeconomic fundamentals, particularly price stability and productive economic growth, rather than short-term exchange rate movements or political conditions. From the perspective of Islamic economics, maintaining price stability, strengthening the real sector, and promoting productive growth are essential to achieving external balance and economic justice in line with the objectives of maq{\=a}{\d s}id al-shar{\=i}?ah. The results imply that effective inflation control and growth-oriented policies are crucial to sustaining current account stability in advanced and emerging economies.} }
