"This study aims to analyze the effects of exchange rate, inflation, economic\r\ngrowth, and political stability on the current account balance of G20 countries.\r\nUsing panel data and the Random Effect Model (REM), the results show that\r\ninflation has a negative and significant effect on the current account, while\r\neconomic growth has a positive and significant effect. In contrast, exchange rate\r\nand political stability are found to have no significant effect on the current account.\r\nThese findings indicate that current account performance in G20 countries is\r\nmainly influenced by macroeconomic fundamentals, particularly price stability and\r\nproductive economic growth, rather than short-term exchange rate movements or\r\npolitical conditions. From the perspective of Islamic economics, maintaining price\r\nstability, strengthening the real sector, and promoting productive growth are\r\nessential to achieving external balance and economic justice in line with the\r\nobjectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah.
