"Physics learning on the topic of temperature and heat that integrates\r\nmultidisciplinary knowledge is beneficial as a foundation for students in facing\r\nfuture learning demands. This study aims to: (1) develop physics instructional\r\nmaterials in the form of a module on temperature and heat using a STEAM\r\napproach integrated with keris ethnoscience; (2) determine the quality of the\r\nphysics module on temperature and heat using a STEAM approach integrated with\r\nkeris ethnoscience; and (3) examine students’ responses to the physics module on\r\ntemperature and heat using a STEAM approach integrated with keris ethnoscience.\r\nThis research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using\r\nthe 4D development model proposed by Thiagarajan (1974). The study was\r\nconducted up to the development stage, with limited trials focusing on students’\r\nresponses. The research instruments included validation sheets analyzed using\r\nAiken’s V, product validation using descriptive qualitative methods, a module\r\nquality assessment sheet using a 4-point Likert scale, and a student response\r\nquestionnaire measured using a 2-point Guttman scale.\r\nThe product developed was a Physics Module on Temperature and Heat\r\nusing a STEAM Approach Integrated with Keris Ethnoscience. The module was\r\ndesigned as an engaging and easy-to-understand instructional material that also\r\nfosters appreciation for local culture. The quality assessment results from material\r\nexperts, media experts, and physics teachers showed average scores of 3.39, 3.65,\r\nand 4, respectively, which fall into the “Very Good” category. The results of the\r\nlimited trial indicated that students’ responses obtained an average score of 1,\r\ncategorized as “Agree.” Therefore, this study concludes that the developed module\r\nis feasible for use as an independent physics learning material at the senior high\r\nschool (SMA/MA) level."^^ .
