At MAN 2 Sleman, printed biology teaching materials, such as Braille modules, are not yet available and learning process still relies on student worksheets (LKS) and non-printed modules provided by teachers. This situation creates challenges for students with visual impairments to learn independently, especially on the topic of viruses, which require visualization and structured explanations. Based on these problems, this study aims to develop a braille-based biology module on the topic of viruses, and to evaluate its feasibility, readability, and students with visual impairments responses. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, validation sheets from material experts, media experts, braille experts, and biology teachers, as well as questionnaires administered to students with visual impairments. The quality of the braille module product was assessed by 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 1 braille expert, 1 biology teacher, and responses from 10 students with visual impairments. The results of the study showed that the developed braille module obtained a feasibility percentage of 80% from material experts with a good category, 84% from media experts with a very good category, 93% from braille experts with a very good category, and 98% from biology teachers with a very good category. In addition, based on the responses of students with visual impairments, the product was rated as very good with a percentage of 84.5%. Thus, the braille module on the topic of viruses is considered suitable to support students with visual impairments in understanding virus concept. date: 2025-12-17 date_type: published pages: 177 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Siti Faizatul Muniroh, NIM.: 21104070009 (2025) PENGEMBANGAN MODUL BRAILLE PADA MATERI VIRUS SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR ALTERNATIF UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK DIFABEL NETRA KELAS X MAN 2 SLEMAN.
