"The background of this study is the low level of students’ interest and learning\r\noutcomes in IPAS, which is caused by monotonous learning practices that have not\r\nfully utilized technological advancements and interactive learning media to\r\nenhance students’ interest and active participation. This study aimed to: (1)\r\nexamine differences in students’ interest in learning IPAS between the experimental\r\nand control classes; (2) examine differences in students’ IPAS learning outcomes\r\nbetween the experimental and control classes; (3) determine the effectiveness of the\r\nTeam Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Wordwall media on\r\nstudents’ interest in IPAS; and (4) determine its effectiveness on students’ IPAS\r\nlearning outcomes.\r\nThis study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design.\r\nThe research sample consisted of two classes: class VC with 30 students as the\r\nexperimental group and class VD with 30 students as the control group. The\r\nresearch instruments included a learning interest questionnaire and a multiplechoice\r\nachievement test, both of which had been tested for validity, reliability,\r\ndifficulty level, and discrimination index. Data were analyzed using normality and\r\nhomogeneity tests, followed by paired sample t-tests, independent sample t-tests,\r\nWilcoxon Signed Rank tests, Mann–Whitney U tests, MANOVA Test and N-Gain\r\nanalysis.\r\nThe results indicate that: (1) the experimental class showed a significant difference\r\nbetween pretest and posttest scores (p = 0.000), while the control class showed no\r\nsignificant difference in learning interest (p = 0.828); (2) a comparison between\r\nthe two classes revealed significant differences in learning interest (p = 0.002) and\r\nlearning outcomes (p = 0.000); (3) a simultaneous significant difference in learning\r\ninterest and IPAS learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes\r\nwas identified based on the MANOVA test using Pillai’s Trace statistic (p = 0.000);\r\n(4) the N-Gain analysis showed an increase in learning interest in the experimental\r\nclass of 44.75%, categorized as less effective; and (5) an increase in learning\r\noutcomes of 41.58%, also categorized as less effective, while the control class\r\nshowed values of –8.40% and 18.24%, categorized as ineffective. Overall, the Team\r\nGames Tournament (TGT) model assisted by Wordwall media has a significant\r\neffect on students’ learning interest and learning outcomes, although the\r\neffectiveness of the improvement remains relatively low."^^ .
