The study aims to analyze the management of PjBL in improving the journal writing competency of regular (working) students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Asahan, based on Fred R. David’s Strategic Management theory and George Lucas's Project Based Learning stages. A qualitative research approach was employed, with data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data validity was ensured using source triangulation involving nine informants across three levels. Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, including data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing.
