This research is qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects are users, educators, and elders of Javanese Corner. Determination of informants based on purposive sampling. The object is the Javanese Corner of the UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Library. The data sources are in the form of primary and secondary data. This research was carried out from August to November 2025. It is located in the Javanese Corner of the UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Library. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of data with trust, redirectability, dependency, and certainty. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the role of Javanese Corner as a lifelong learning space in improving Javanese Cultural literacy for users based on the Contextual Model of Learning is divided into three, namely; personal context consisting of interests, motivations, previous knowledge; sociocultural context consisting of social and cultural interaction of users; Physical context consisting of space design, display, technology. The supporting and inhibiting factors of Javanese Corner in shaping Javanese Cultural literacy are reviewed from the physical context consisting of space design, display, and technology. The supporting factors for the design of the Javanese Corner space are the visual appeal and atmosphere of the room, while the inhibiting factors are the limitations of space, funds, facilities, and human resources. The supporting factor for the display is the attractive visual media, while the inhibiting factor is the collection of original manuscripts on glass that is difficult for users to understand.
