"The Qur’an is a sacred text whose miraculous nature (i‘jāz) lies not only in\r\nits doctrinal content but also in its linguistic and rhetorical features. One of the most\r\nprominent linguistic phenomena in the Qur’an is repetition (tikrār), which is often\r\nmistakenly perceived as redundant or meaningless. In fact, within the framework\r\nof Qur’anic sciences and tafsir studies, tikrār represents a deliberate rhetorical\r\nstrategy imbued with profound wisdom and purpose. This study aims to examine\r\nthe phenomenon of tikrār in Surah Asy-Syu‘arā’, particularly the repeated verse\r\ninna fī żālika la āyah wa mā kāna ṡaruhum mu’ minīn, through a comparative\r\nanalysis of Tafsir Al-Ṭabarī and Tafsîr al-Munîr by Wahbah az-Zuḥaylī.\r\nThis research employs a qualitative approach based on library research and\r\nutilizes a comparative (muqāranah) method. The primary data sources are Tafsir\r\nAl-Ṭabarī and Tafsîr al-Munîr, while secondary data are drawn from scholarly\r\nbooks, journals, and academic works related to tikrār and Qur’anic studies. Data\r\nanalysis is conducted through content analysis and systematic comparison of the\r\nconcepts, methodologies, and interpretative outcomes of the two exegetes.\r\nThis study concludes that the phenomenon of tikrār in the Qur’an,\r\nparticularly in Surah Asy-Syu‘arā’, constitutes an integral aspect of the Qur’an’s\r\nlinguistic miracle, functioning to affirm, emphasize, and magnify divine messages.\r\nAccordingly, this research recommends further studies on tikrār across other surahs\r\nand exegetical works, as well as the application of this understanding in pedagogical\r\nand da‘wah contexts to enhance a deeper engagement with the Qur’an."^^ .
