One of the most prominent linguistic phenomena in the Qur?an is repetition (tikr?r), which is often mistakenly perceived as redundant or meaningless. In fact, within the framework of Qur?anic sciences and tafsir studies, tikr?r represents a deliberate rhetorical strategy imbued with profound wisdom and purpose. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of tikr?r in Surah Asy-Syu?ar??, particularly the repeated verse inna f? ??lika la ?yah wa m? k?na ?aruhum mu? min?n, through a comparative analysis of Tafsir Al-?abar? and Tafsīr al-Munīr by Wahbah az-Zu?ayl?. This research employs a qualitative approach based on library research and utilizes a comparative (muq?ranah) method. The primary data sources are Tafsir Al-?abar? and Tafsīr al-Munīr, while secondary data are drawn from scholarly books, journals, and academic works related to tikr?r and Qur?anic studies. Data analysis is conducted through content analysis and systematic comparison of the concepts, methodologies, and interpretative outcomes of the two exegetes. This study concludes that the phenomenon of tikr?r in the Qur?an, particularly in Surah Asy-Syu?ar??, constitutes an integral aspect of the Qur?an?s linguistic miracle, functioning to affirm, emphasize, and magnify divine messages. Accordingly, this research recommends further studies on tikr?r across other surahs and exegetical works, as well as the application of this understanding in pedagogical and da?wah contexts to enhance a deeper engagement with the Qur?an.
